RECYCLED WOOD
With our commitment to sustainability, where possible, we use recycled wood. We produce this by turning existing wooden products into powder which is then compressed into solid board. This helps reduce the amount of deforestation while also reducing the amount of waste contributing to landfill.
BEECH WOOD
Beech wood is a hard, strong and heavy wood that’s great for shaping. It has a fine, tight grain and even texture and is very light in colour. It has a high shock resistance which makes it a perfect wood for kids to play with. Our beech wood is prodomanantly sourced from Germany.
PINE
We source most of our pine from New Zealand. Pine is a lightwood that has plenty of give. New Zealand Pine yields a strong, economical and versatile light coloured timber. Being easy to work, Pine is a good wood for producing toys.
White Oak
Sourced from the USA, white oak is a hard, heavy wood, and has low stiffness and good overall strength. White oak machines well and is easy to glue, nail and screw which makes it another great option for toys.
